Can you please help with advice regarding visitation rights for a father?

Hi folks,

I have a very good friend who basically just wants to be able to see his son.

Break-ups being what they are his ex is refusing all-rights knowing that he has recentley started a job (not great pay but would still be eligible for court costs)

She is basically saying that any access has to be done through solicitors.

aAnyone advice? Is there a protocol that can be followed without getting solicitors involved?

Any help greatly appreciated.

If this guy wasnt a good guy and a potential good father (if he is allowed to be) I wouldnt be writing this!

Thanks
Michelle

This would probably be better on the Families board, if you send a PM to soolin she would probably move it for you. If you look there you will find similar threads: he might find it useful to contact groups like Families Need Fathers as well.
