Halifax Online Banking Mortgage Account

Hi All
Im not here to complain about Halifax's woeful support on their online banking service for mortgage accounts, however, I am a little concerned that my mortgage payment has gone out of my Halifax current account, yet my mortgage has not been credited with it, nor the £50 overpayment we have made...
Does it not register until the next day or am I missing something here and my repayments are just disappearing into thin air

I wouldn't start to worry yet. I don't know if it works the same as LTSB loans which are not accredited to your account for a few days after you make the payment. I would say if it is not showing by the beginning of next week, call The Halifax :-)I have been in the insurance industry for the past 6 1/2 years (protection products)
We have now bought our first home :j(completion date - 23.07.2010)
Wedding budget: £2,000 so far spent: £1,850. Wedding date of 27.08.2011 :T0 -
Ive just seen your signature, we are getting married on the same day. I know its taken my own topic off topic but how strange...:beer:0

Halifax branch systems don't update mortgage payments until the next day.
So any same day credit won't even show to their staff, let alone on your mortgage account.
Many companies don't provide any sort of online service on mortgage accounts, so perhaps you are slightly optimistic with your expectations.
I've no idea when the credit you've made will show, but I think the online figure is what they believe your debt and interest will be calculated to the end of the month. It doesn't include any ERCs.0 -
Cheers Opinions, ill keep an eye on it over the next few days, I am up town on Friday anyway so if it hasnt cleared by then Ill be making a visit to the branch in person0
