Lightspeed and Missing Points

Does anyone ever get a reply to emails about missing points? I didn't get any response whatsoever to several emails about a telephone interview I did for them in June. Now the latest is a 600 point survey which took me 90 minutes a couple of weeks ago. I have emailed them three times so far because the points haven't been allocated to me, but they don't reply. They are still sending other surveys and they are crediting alright.

Hi Lillylou,
sorry to hear about your problem. I have completed the same survey although my points have been credited so i dont think its a universal problem.
However directly applicable to your point i to have experienced bad customer service over other points not being credited but this was in April, I, similarly to you, emailed "Lauren" extensively over the missing points and to date still havent received the courtesy of a single response! I refuse to give up so i now send one e-mail a week until i get a response but im not holding my breath!
Although it seems like a hopeless cause i am still will continue to chase on principle, I suggest maybe you do the same maybe if enough people start complaining Lightspeed may get its act together and improve its customer service department.
Best of luck

Hi Raj,
Thanks for your reply. I'm glad you got your points from that survey, and I think you are right, it is the principle, and yes, I am going to keep right on emailing until someone answers me, or I get the points, hopefully both. I hope you get your missing points from April, that's a long time to be waiting. Good luck

Thank you Lilly Lou
Yeah the April one i havnt been credited for was also for quite a few points, the email stated the following;
Dear raj,
You are invited to participate in Survey B23545. This survey will be conducted in 3 stages. We estimate that each stage will take about an hour. As such, you will receive an increased award of 1500 Lightspeed Points for completing all 3 sections.
To take the survey:
1) Go to: (had a link here that i wont include in the post)
2) Sign in using your email address and Lightspeed password
3) On your Members page, access the link "B23545"
If you have any problems or questions about this survey, please respond to this email. Enter "B23545" in the subject line.
We look forward to your participation!
Kind regards,

It seems convenient that when a large number of points at stake some people dont get credited, i also must say it wasnt April i have been chasing its been mid may, but thats still long enough!
Anyways i know its little consolation but you keep fighting for your 600 points and i will keep trying for my 1500 :-) if i recieve a reply i will update you further.

do you recommend this panel i have just signed up?:footie:0

Hi Red Devil
Apart from the notoriously bad customer service i would reccomend this panel, i have regularly been paid by this site via paypal, the surveys are frequent and i qualify for the majority which is always a bonus. They also have a prize draw system based upon points you get for poll surveys, but i have never won on that, but nice that the chance is there!
Just make sure you check your points balence after each survey to ensure you have been credited :-)

Red Devil, hi, I echo Raj, generally the surveys do credit and you do get paid, it just seems that anything out of the norm, big point surveys, telephone interviews, etc, there seems to be a problem with, and they are really bad at replying to emails. Like Raj said, keep an eye on your points balance, the surveys usually credit straight after you complete surveys.
Raj, that's an awful lot of points, and your time and effort, 3 hours, I do hope you get satisfaction. I did a search on this forum and a Lightspeed panelist mentioned that when she chased up a telephone interview which she hadn't received points for, she was told that she had been given prize draw entries! I do hope that isn't the case for us.
I will keep emailing and like you, I will come back and post if I get a response.

I'd recommend lightspeed too; have been on for a month, done a lot of surveys (some of which have been quite interesting, others...Not;)). Not lost any points....Yet.
I just managed to get to my first tenner last night, and was most impressed to get my Amazon voucher emailed out within five minutes of ordering. By contrast, Ipsos seem agonisingly slow. Although I've done even more surveys with them, and got the grand total of £20 in my first six weeks (without an awful lot of effort, it feels) I ordered an Amazon voucher nearly four weeks ago and still no sign of it.0
