Homemade treats with no oven

Hi everyone
My sister is going to uni soon, in the past she has enjoyed making homemade treats such as biscuits and cakes but she'll be moving into halls and will have a hob but no oven.
What tasty things could she make without an oven? I've thought of rice crispy cakes and that chocolate/digestive fridge cake thingy, but there must be something else.
thanks

Welsh cakes are cooked on a girdle (or a frying pan). Other than that, and the ones you've mentioned, I can't think of anything else, but I'm sure someone else will!0

Chocolate cheesecake.
Place a couple of digestive biscuits in a ramekin.
Mix nutella and cream cheese. Dollop on top.
Fifteens
Mix 1 tin condensed milk, 15 marshmallows, 15 crushed digestives, 15 cherries, some coconut.
Make into a log. Coat in coconut.
Wrap in cling film.
Slice off pieces to eat.
There are mug-cakes you can 'bake' in a microwave oven.0 -
Hi clutterydrawer,
These are lovely:
Fifteens
15 digestive biscuits (crushed)
15 glace cherries (chopped)
15 marshmallows (chopped)
half a tin of condensed milk (approx 200-250g)
dessicated coconut
Mix the biscuits, cherries and marshmallow in a bowl with the condensed milk. Roll into a long sausage shape on greaseproof paper sprinkled with the coconut. Chill in the fridge for a couple of hours and then slice.
What about pancakes, dropped scones, cheese cake? Or these threads may help if she has access to a microwave:

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.0 -

i use nigellas recipe, but change a few bits
dont use god chocolate, we use value/smart price
we use value/smart price digestives instead of tea biscuits

Bounty bars - melt a few marshmallows into some condensed milk, stir in enough shredded coconut to soak up the liquid, leave in fridge to firm up, roll into log shapes, and dip in melted chocolate, put back in fridge to harden.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
