What letters do u want to send? Are u planning to ask them to accept reduced payments? There are plenty of sample letters on this site and others, and we can point you to them if u let us know what u want to say.

    Good luck :)

National debtline is a good source for letters - http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/debt_advice.php#6
There are lots of templates on this site, if you can tell us what you specifically want we can probably point you to the right threads.

  • well i have piad off my debts to these creditors, which is all fine and well, but i want to get them pu ton my credit report as paid in full, rather than settled...as i know this will help boost my score!?
i orgiinally sent the letter stating that i am willing to pay the amount in full and requested that the debt to be put down as paid in full and any negative information to be removed from my credit reference.

    any help would be awesome.

thank you for the help guys and girls:)

Do they show as settled or partially settled?
If they show as settled then that means paid in full and is not adverse on your credit rating.

The defaults will still show for 6years from the date they were entered. It would be very unlikely you would get a creditor to remove a default from your credit file, unless they specifically wrote to you to say that they would prior to you making the payment then you won't get it removed now.
