silly question - re mortgaging

Options
Right, can someone enlighten me please.

Me and OH have a fixed mortgage with Natwest for 5.99% ends in 2014. Since we got the mortgage last summer our credit rating has gotten worse (not getting accepted for CC or Loans or increased overdraft etc etc), which is our own fault and we are trying to rectify this. Will this affect our chances of getting a good deal when we need to re-mortgage if our credit rating doesnt improve significantly by then?

Thanks

  • Simple answer - yes, but you have ample time to improve your credit rating in the interim.

You need to get your credit reports, identify teh reasons for change in status and address them ASAP.
