Not half term yet, another week or so to go. When's it with you?

I can avoid cakes too, no problem. I won't elaborate on where my calories come from:o.

    Hope the writing's going well?
  • We are on inservice here - 4 days - not really half term but kind off!

Writing - one step forward, two back, two forward, one back - that kind of thing!

Nice to see you Maman! x

    Understandable......

Lunch was half a pack of Approved Foods Lemon and Coriander cous cous with pitta bread - the rest of the pack of cous cous will be for tomorrow. That means lunch cost under 20p, and that probably includes the knob of butter for the cous cous and the gas to grill the pittas too! :D
Dinner will be jacket spuds with beans and cheese as MrEH is at rugby training this evening.

:o:o:o from here on that one maman!.

There's a lot of chef-ing going on here! The best I can come up with tonight is spag bol which is home-made but being defrosted so not a huge amount of effort tonight.

OH & I are going away at 1/2-term!!!! 4 nights! Very rare event. He's booked a fab cottage...with an indoor swimming pool :eek::eek: (well, shared by 6 cottages)

Now, how to drop 30 lbs in 10 days? (yeah OK, chop me leg off). Jeez they'll be getting the harpoons out when I emerge. I adore swimming but not been for ages due to above!

When I said I'd pay my half he said it's his treat as he then doesn't have to bother with all that Feb 14th s***. This was by email. My reply simply said "a*se".

    Am I being ungrateful?

Jo you seem to be doing great, so glad to hear it.

WB, I'm ashamed of you. What a way to behave to such a romantic gesture:eek::D

Good to hear from you again. We stayed in some lovely cottages down in Dorset which had a pool. I hope you have a great time. I'm trying to be very good with my healthy eating plan, joined Slimming World about 4 months ago and I'm delighted with progress. We're having a few days in Paris at half-term so I don't expect much of a loss that week.;)

    Chicken casserole here tonight.

It was a need for a quick tea tonight so cooked pasta and chicken with pesto served with fresh tomato and cucumber. Afties rice cake with peanut butter, nom, nom...

If BF comes here for the weekend I am putting him on kitchen duty. I am feeling rather exhausted at the moment.

ooh I'm first in - are you all having a lie-in?

MARMITE XO for breakfast!! It was a pressie :D I can't afford these luxuries.

No idea about tonight as at OH's...left him fretting yesterday about what to do that he can manage after an hour or two in the pub :rotfl::rotfl:.

My turn tomorrow....soaking mushy peas overnight tonight in readiness (another fave of mine!) Better than the tinned any day ;). With haddock. And something else yet to be identified.

Catch you later, early lunch calling...
