Chicken with sage and onion, roast tatties, Parsnips, carrots and pumpkin ...... and weird gravy :rotfl:
Also :eek::eek::eek: No Yorkshire puds ...... Chickens on strike ....only one egg today - better save it just in case
I never use stock cubes, just meat juices. Could try a bit of marmite added to meat juices and cornflour and veg water.0 -
Pizza and berry trifle for tea today. My ambition is to bake tonight some cherry tartlets and make some of that sweet potato casserole I talked about earlier this week. Perhaps tomorrow I get time to bake the gingerbred dough I have in the freezer. Note to self to take it out tonight.

So glad it worked out.
ETA, a dash of Worcester sauce can be good in gravy too.
We had cod, sweet potato wedges, mushy peas, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Beef stew all ready cooked for tomorrow, make it easy while prepping veg for Christmas lunch etc etc0 -
Bread sauce made and cheesecake base is in the tin in the fridge. Annoyingly need to hit Tesco tomorrow morning to get some bits that I couldn't get tonight. Might head to Sainsbugs first though as Tesco appear to have stopped stocking the boxes of 15 FR eggs for £2.50 over christmas - kind of them, that!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Morning all,
Sparkles, hope your headache gone?
OH was in a tremendously good mood yesterday which was a stark contrast to the evening before when I was going out with 4 friends and he asked me which of them was I sleeping with or was it all 4, he said this in front of my 3 kids. I think he realised he was bang out of order cos he bought take away last night and it was Chinese and he don't like Chinese. He even insisted I watched Enders on the big telly in the lounge. Methinks this is his last ditch attempt to make an effort that he promised about a month ago. Shame I have documented evidence of the women he's been seeing and he's gonna be chucked out in 8 days huh...
Off to work for the last time till next Thursday soonDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
