'lo all - hope you're wel. Jo sorry to hear about your cold, but glad to hear that the chest is clearing a bit. Try vitamin C tablets for the cold if you have/can get any. They're about all that is stopping me getting another one I think.
Currently have a loaf of bread in the over to go with soup tonight. Lunch was going to be the old standby pasta'n'pesto but ended up being a roast pork & pickle roll at Mums.
Tomorrow night is going to be vegetable rice using up the veg from the fridge ahead of christmas I think. There must be some elderly bits lurking in there that need gone and OH is out for part of tomorrow evening.
Foodie bits still to do for christmas: cheesecake to make for after lunch. The recipe says Lemon but it's going to be a mixed citrus I think, or maybe just a lemon & lime. Bread sauce - that will be done tomorrow night, and possibly some houmous, presuming I have a can of chick peas in, that is!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just had roast chicken and curly chips (DS's choice) and it was lovely.
I made my biscuits for our Christmas Eve do today. I got a bit mixed up with the plain and SR flour but everything tastes ok, if a little fluffy. I don't think the little ones will notice
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Boiled eggs and toast here. I've just sorted out my Christmas menus (i.e. transferred from head to paper) and need to brave Asda for the few bits I need. Just taken massive gammon joint out to defrost.
Hang on in there jo, just enjoy that smug feeling of what you know and he doesn't.....yet:D Sorry I told you off about the prescription when you had fetched it. Good on you!0 -
