Would this not work out at 16 for £2, or are they on 3 for the price of 2?

    Sorry, senior moment there.

They were on 3 for 2 and were bought in-store.
  • Worth pointing out though that compared to a larger pack it's still no bargain.

For example, a pack of 100 discs can normally be had for around £10 in most independent computer shops. Using this tesco example that would cost over £16.

Depends what dye it is. £10 for 100 DVDR's is a bargain indeed, but the dye used on those is usually rubbish.

Personally I prefer to pay the extra and buy Taiyo Yuden dye discs. I've bought the cheaper brands, Bulkpaq, Ri-Vision, Datawrite (variants of) and they deteriorate quickly. Useless product if your discs are storing important data.
  • Wilkinsons were doing 5 packs of Maxell dvd recordables bogof for £4.99, a couple of weeks ago. Not sure if the offers still running.
