They dont specify which types of media it supports.0

The first digital picture frame looks similar to one that Jason Bradbury had on the Gadget Show last night as they done a feature on them as this is one he personally has, some of the frames including a set for £2000 was useless and they also showed you how to make one for under £100 from a LCD monitor and then get it framed
Here is some info regarding the digital pictures frames from the Gadget Show

I have the Philips one and it's good. Just don't try to update the firmware (long story). This one is widescreen which doesn't fit the shape of most digital photos so either you would have your photo stretched or you'd get black bands either side of your photos. I don't really get why people want widescreen laptops either, but I'm a bit of a luddite like that.
Most people wouldn't be interested in building their own and a 15 inch LCD monitor probably wouldn't sit very well on most peoples mantle pieces, so these display are an excellent idea.
Dixons were doing the Philips one for £120 recently (currently out of stock).0 -
And another thing - imagine how small 'portrait' mode photos would look on such a widescreen device.
I'll shut up now.0 -

There is a list of card slots in the spec (under Technical Details)
Apparently takes MS, SD, XD & MMC Memory Cards - also has a USB port so could possibly be loaded direct from a PC too.0 -
the 8 inch 'no brand' ones on Ebay are constant between £80-100, so, unless the quality is really bad on these (which I doubt), they are a great buy! Consider it pre-ordered for testing!0
