Of course it does, Hamish has the classic bull mantra, he is an EA after all so he has to talk up the market in whatever way he can.1984ReturnsForReal wrote: »Anybody else reading the original post & thinking it goes completely against Hamishs' 2 year mantra?
Either that or he doesn't understand it.........0 -
Didn't she buy back into the property market a few months ago?
What is the deal with those buck teeth? Surely the editor of Moneyweek could afford a bit of dentistry?

It's the bears that have wrongly been suggesting the Tories want to crash the market.
As I recall, the bulls have rightly noted that a further crash would destabilise the economy again, so further actions would be taken by the BoE and government to prevent it.
I don't think anyone in their right mind would want a full on housing market crash right now.
If we did have one you wouldnt know what hit you.
Steady drops mate all the way. Apart from those offer inflated Aberdonian houses whose stupid owners kept on buying..

She did indeed.
After selling to rent, she watched prices in the area she sold rise by nearly 40%, despite her 4 years of crash ramping in the pages of moneyweek.
Then bought back into the Edinburgh market in an area she didn't really want to live in, after prices returned almost to peak. Couldn't find a suitable house you see, so spent 950K on one where she didn't want to live so she could paint the daughters bedroom. Or something.

Let me guess, now you disagree with her?
No - haven't bothered to read your link, I'm afraid - but yes, I think Merryn's fab.0 -

Well done, you're learning.
Now for the advanced lesson, name the components of effective demand....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Clearly, as a female financial writer, your opinion of her looks is of paramount importance.
