Computer finances database thingy?

Hello all

Hope everyone is well.

Still struggling with my new way of living hand to mouth and wondered if anyone used a computer based finances database type thing?

I have an app for my phone but its too fiddley and slow to input tying with one finger...

Any suggestions gratefully received and thanks in advance

I just use an excel spreadsheet, one column for ins and one for outs.

I put in all the regular dd's and the allowances for clothes, food and so on and that tells me what we should have left for surplus each month.

I check the coop account every morning on line and make sure it is all as it should be and to reassure me that my sheet is correct.

  • Thanks both. I have a basic budget set up on excel but looking for something a little more fancy that can give me overviews etc so any other suggestions gratefully received
