My wife has unfortunately had her identity stolen, and someone opened 3 catalogue accounts under her name at our old address, 6 months after we had moved out. This was 3 years ago. 2 years ago we started getting nasty debt recovery letters. We supplied Phoenix Recoveries with solicitors letters showing we had moved out before all this took place, and also a police fraud crime number. We are still getting letters. I have recently requested copies of the originial Credit Agreements which Shop Direct Finance Company (littlewoods groups) are unable to supply.

Where do we stand? Are we able to sue as so far despite providing proof that we could not have opened these accounts, no one has done anything. We are still getting letters. How do we stop this. This has so far caused my wife no end of trouble to the point she has difficulty opening a bank account and is unable to take out a phone under her own name.
