Hi all

I've just this evening checked my credit report which wasn't as bad as I had thought.

I seem to be having a bit of a memory blank (which I blame on pregnancy) and was wondering whether someone could help me out with my questions!

1. When an account is settled how long does it take for it to show as settled.
2. When it states "settled" how long does this stay on your credit report?
3. There is an account which I dont recognise whatsoever - do I contact the credit agency to investigate further or direct with the lender (even if I have no account details)
4. I have a previous address listed which I don't live at anymore and I only lived there for about 1 year, can I have this removed?

I know these questions are asked all the time so I apologise for the repetition!

1. Anything up to a couple of months depending on the creditor
2.Either 6 years or until you pay it off (settled or partial settlement)
3. Sorry no idea id contact the lender.
4.Nope it has to stay if its an accurate prev address.

Would be nice to see my settled accounts actually disappear guess I'm going to have to wait the 6 years even though they have been paid off!
