I Wanna Thomas The Tank Birthday Cake

Does anyone know where I could get a reasonably priced Thomas the Tank Engine birthday cake for my 5 year old? I live in Glasgow.

Thanks

  • Thanks . . I tried Asda last year but they didn't stock them. I'll give Tesco a try.

I have also got these in Sainsburys before, for my little Thomas fan, similar price to the Tesco ones.

They definately have them in Tesco as I bought one last week for my 3 year old son.
They taste quite nice too, my son ate over half of it himself.

If I remember correctly my little boys Thomas cake this March came from Sainsbury's - it was round and much easier to cut than the shaped cakes. Tesco have the shaped variety I think.

Hope he has a happy birthday.
  • got ours from tesco they are yummy too! lol! a bit sick of thomas the tank now its driving me mad my little one is obsessed with him! good luck!

The Tesco cake is in the shape of Thomas but I found it easy to cut.
I started at the back, cut a slice about an inch thick and then cut this in half. There was plenty of cake to go round all his friends.

this e-bay site produces the 'top' to your cake, so you can have their name put on too

  • You could try with Thomas what we're going to do with pixar's cars - make a round cake with a track (cut from ready rolled icing) around it, with their own cars/trains on. That way you can put their favourites on it ... and have space in the middle for candles!
