Time for an update:
Started this diary in September 2010 (really doesn't seem that long ago) with a total debt of
£6292.70. Had previously paid off in the region of [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE] on credit cards/ payday loans.
Cleared car finance in March 11. So [STRIKE]£1732.70[/STRIKE] paid off in 6 months
The rest of the debt was owed to a personal friend as of September was £4560
As of today - 2nd June 2011 the total stands at £2681.92
So have paid off [STRIKE]£1878.08[/STRIKE] in 10 months
In the ten months since I started my df diary I have paid [STRIKE]£3610.78[/STRIKE]
Average per month £362 - using this average it will be 7 months to pay off the rest. But I can do better than that :j The end is in sight!
This site has been an absolutely life changingly massive help on my journey and I have ingrained myself completely in the MSE way. I am confident that when these lingering amounts are cleared I will move forward more positively knowing that I am part of this community :A
Happy June everyone!0 -
well done on turning our finances around. are these debts all yours, or does your partner contribute?
Just thought I would give you a pat on the back
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

awww, thank you chev. No, all mine I'm afraid. I'm going to start giving my partner some money towards his loan when I am all clear because we used some of that money for the deposit on our house and household stuff. That way we are pretty much square.
Thanks for popping by :wave:0
