  • Hi

Not wanting to repeat what has alreadfy been asked I have read the entire thread, took me a while!

Firstly, good luck with the hunt for dolls and toy story bits, my DD isn't old enough yet, thankfully!

She has only asked for one thing for christmas and that is her "very own paw pilot just like OSO" and I can't find one anywhere, does anyone know if there is merchandise about for OSO?

Also, went into Boots yesterday to try and get ideas out of her and the SA (?) told me that the one thing that is flying off the shelves as soon as it is put on is MoonDough. I have seen it advertised but does anyone know if it is any good? DD1 is nuts about playdough. Only disadvantage I could see to it never drying out is that thats when I hoover up the little bits, when they are hard! Having visions of multi-coloured carpets!

My DD (aged 6) got Moondough for her birthday, I was very dubious about its promises but it actually is great fun, it doesn't dry out and you can shape it with the sets really easily. The only disadvantage is that it does have a perculiar texture and whilst playing with would definately need a plastic sheet down as can crumble whilst the kiddies are playing with it, but really easy to hover up as it isnt sticky like playdough. My DD (aged 2) really enjoys it to, I make the blocks or puppys using the kit and then she mashes it all up or slices the blocks - it slices really easily. They also can build with it as you can make bricks. All in all I give it a thumbs up, I enjoy playing with it too!!!!

My mum bought DD the sets off the TV back in the summer when they were doing the infomercial type thing and got loads of extra's including the puppy set and the pizza set, I picked up the burger making set from ELC reduced also back in the summer to go in her stocking, although I have also seen in Tesco's recently, good luck in the hunt.

I got the jupiter fire engine from boots on 3 for 2 . The deluxe playset is also in boots for £30 and on 3 for 2
You could always try Play.com. I got some fireman sam bits on there last night and they worked out roughly 3 for 2 prices, some where even cheaper.

Thinking of some of the most popular things people have been looking for: they had lalaloopsy dolls (lalaloopsy branding not bitty buttons) but only Pillow Featherbed and Mittens fluff n stuff.

They didn't have lotso, Bullseye, Ben and Hollys castle, chatimals, monster high dolls, dragon castle, paper jamz, deluxe workshop, toffee the pony, Stinky the garbage truck.

I got amazingly good service - I think the staff thought I was a mystery shopper :rotfl:
