  • Are they enourmous ones? Or are they in proportion to woody? (ie a good deal less than 12"?

It is the same size as the standard Mr Potato heads - about 7" i think
  • Its probably been mentioned but QS have got chatimals in store at £20 each- i dont know the rrp though 3 different ones to choose from
  • anyone know where to get the box of three by thinkaways - selling on ebay for a mad £50 which is ridiculous for 3 bits of rubber that don't even sqeak (why on earth don't they?!?!) but this is looking likely to rival Amy Pond on my boys list this year which consists of:

    1. Amy (Sainsburies, normal price-woohoo!)
    2. Space Alien Pack
    3. A dalek in blue or red (bbc shop normal price+quidco 6% - hurray!)
    4. mystery ufo (auntie got this)
    5. a dog pencil sharpener (£3 John Lewis)
    6. complete series 5 dr who dvd (preordered, BBC £48, 6% quidco)
    7. anything with aliens on from toy story (so far got a leather necklace (£3), a t-shirt (£5) and a pen (£2 - but 3 for 2 in Lloyds)

Goodness knows what anyone else will get! Also got nanos for all three boys (back order maplins, hope they get here) and a crab (I think they are better anyway). Ordered an alligator chopper today (£18 amazon with nectar points too) - he is mad about cookery. Need to find him an apron LOL

Don't know if you've noticed my previous posts on the elusive Aliens :) but I was having the same issue as you and I was SO reluctant to pay over the RRP for them as, like you said, they don't actually do anything!

Anyway, the manager at my local Toys R Us told me (and I would assume it's the same all over) that they are expecting more stock of all Toy Story stuff, as it's proved so popular and he advised I call every day at approx. 1200-1300 because the deliveries come in at 0700 and take 5-6 hours to unpack. He then said if there were any delivered that they would hold a box for me until the end of the day. I did manage to get a box yesterday (on my first phone call!) so hopefully you will too if you give calling them every day a try.

    HTH :)

ETA - they are actually exclusive to Toys R Us, so you won't find them anywhere else at all at the RRP..... only ebay and amazon (3rd party sellers) at vastly inflated prices.
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p
