I have got a Hexbug nano habitat set for my 11 year old - quite hard to find at the moment
My dd 12 wants this for Christmas. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me to be a bit of plastic that little inch long 'bugs' zoom about in.....but that's it:undecided
As I said, please correct me if I'm wrong as can't decide if it is just a waste of money (~£27 for habitat and maybe couple of extra nanos ~ £16) - dh says no way, but then when have I listened to him as regards Christmas & kids always happy.
Really want to get ahead and purchase now if that is the thing to get but if anyone has any comments about them i.e. worth it/what they do etc, then please help me out here.If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:0 -
bearing in mind that the chatimals seem mentioned to be out of stock everywhere i'm surprised that the prices on ebay are more inflated (on average about £19.00) whereas the monster high dolls seem to be about £5.00 more than RRP with some going for a little more. I guess ebay is a good gauge on what toy is going to be hard to get. I remember a guy at work had a sqiggles hamster and when i told him how sought after it put it in ebay as his daughter was young and he bought it just walking past in tescos, he listed it as a auction and it went for £43.00 which is madness............Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0

have a look back through the posts from yesterday because someone posted a link to the discovery store that is doing their own version of these at around half the price of the originals:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -

I seem to recall the prices for the Go Go hamsters on ebay peaked in November last year when the stock had dried up across the country. Morning TV featured them which increased the panic buying. Once a big delivery came in and hit all the stores, the prices on ebay fell dramatically and many weren't even getting what they paid for the hamsters in the first place.:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -
