These are marketed as My Pillow Pets in the US and are sold under licence over here by Pitch as huggle buddies. However....you can buy them as Pillow Pets elsewhere for a lot cheaper, I've ordered three for my kids from here:
There's a limited range of designs but they are a tenner each, rather than £20. Websites a bit crappy, but prices well worth it. Delivery was three quid for one and a fiver for three.

    Dear exessexmum,
    Pitch TV Here!
We would like to give further information regarding this post.
The products we sell are the original product licensed to Pitch TV under our registered name.
We would also like to mention our product is made from soft snuggly chenille fabric not just standard synthetic fur. Also our products are completely child safe, fire retardant etc and have been thoroughly tested specifically for children. As you can see from our film we also pride ourselves on the children's feedback too. We of course have all necessary testing certificates. Our product is of extremely high quality. Also unlike other inferior products – this is a FULL SIZE kids pillow – at approx 21 inches – as opposed to those which have been linked in this thread which are almost half the size at approx 10- 11inches.
We would like to respond and say it sounds as if you and your children were impressed with the commercial therefore its unfortunate that inferior copies may benefit from our hard work and good name.
    Exact dimensions below for reference:
    L: 55 W: 48 x B: 2.75
    Regards
    Pitch TV Team

I reserved one with my niece in mind at the weekend at my local Argos (Lyons Farm) - but I showed DD online before we went to collect and she said they didn't look very nice (DD is only 6 I suppose so guess they may be a bit too ghoulish looking to a 6 year old)

Anyway we left it so there are still 2 to reserve there
