It looks like Argos had timed this latest release of stock to coincide with the launch of Monster High on Nickelodeon - Lets hope people buy them now rather than waiting as they will be like the Go Go Hamsters last year, loads of stock till early November, at lower prices, then stock disappears and people are desperate for it and what is there is either upped in price or back to the RRP. I'll be waiting for all those desperately trying to get them in December whilst chanting the usual phrase "I wish I'd got them when I first saw them in October...":snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -

I was thinking of not actually giving them back, just asking them to refund then I would buy straight back before they got their paws on them?
I was wondering the same thing. It feels really cheeky and I'm not sure if I had the courage, maybe I'd feel better about returning them and then sending someone else in to buy them back but it would be easier if they just gave me a refund onto the receipt. Maybe I'll go in and ask nicely tomorrow.Debt Free: 01/01/2020

I was just thinking, if the argos Monster High Dolls are £3 cheaper now, is it worth us taking ours back if they are still within the 28 day period and going to customer services, asking for a refund, then buying them straight back? Has anyone tried doing that before?
I've just noticed that Smyths toys have reduced their monster high dolls (£14.99 to £11.99) and the Lalaloopsys (£24.99 to £19.99) too!!! And Toysrus have also reduced the Lalloopsys! Me thinks I'm going to be busy taking my stuff back!
Just rang Smythstoys, Toysrus and Argos they both said if I take the products to their customer services desk I can get a refund then buy them straight back:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -

It's a dangerous game that they have to play Maxi. Be left with 10,000 chatimals, monster high dolls, lallaloopsy dolls or have them all sold out within a week, and have none left to sell to the public.
Who'd be a retailer???Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Monster high dolls, now available for home delivery at Argos.0

Me thinks that a big toy shipment has come into the country, I remember last year with the hamsters there was a sort of last delivery before xmas, they popped up everywhere (admittedly not for long) I think it was around November time. Another thing to remember is that a lot of peeps havent even started their shopping for xmas yet, I know at work they think I'm a bit odd for having most of mine done, so it is not unusual for lots of stocks to hit the shops now in anticipation of the xmas rush. Prob one more big delivery before xmas after this one?0

I am hoping that if a huge shipment has arrived in the UK then there is a Dot Starlight amongst the Lalaloopsy's just waiting to be bought. I can't find her anywhere !
