Lowell Financial and Freemans-another one!!!

My husband has just received a letter from Lowell Financial for a debt of £142.98 with Freemans catalogue.
This was taken out by me a few years ago-i couldn't remember when as i had a huge nervous breakdown around the time
We have just checked his credit report for the first time today...it is good but he has a couple of 'Satisfied' accounts...including this one from Freemans...it states the debt is £127 and it states satisfied 16/9/2006.
I'm not sure what that means to be honest and any help on this would be helpful...i took out a load of credit in 2005 whilst pregnant and had a massive breakdown not soon after giving birth...my hubby paid all of them straight off out of our savings...SO does Satisfied mean paid? i'm very confused or is this one that slipped through the net.
We also have no copy of the Credit agreement.
Any help much appreciated
thanks:)

Sounds like you've paid it off, ask lowells to prove you owe it.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013
Debt at LBM 30/04/2010 £24,109.38,0 -
I have had the same from Lowell and posted the same question a couple of days ago as they are requesting payment for a catalogue debt that I already paid to a different DCA. I was about to contact them to arrange a repayment plan and then remembered that I has already paid it off, so just be careful you don't pay this debt off twice.0

Send Lowells the prove it letter. They a low life chancers hoping that as it was such a long time ago u won't realise its settled and pay up to get rid of them. There's nothing they can do so send the prove it letter and u'll probably hear no more from them.
Dear Sirs,
Account No: XXXXXXXX
You have contacted me regarding the account with the above reference number, which you claim is owed by myself. I would point out that I have no knowledge of any such debt being owed to (insert company name). I am familiar with the CPUTR 2008 and the Office of Fair Trading's Guidance on debt collection, which states that it is unfair to send demands for payment to an individual when it is uncertain that they are the debtor in question.
I would also point out that the OFT say under the Guidance that it is unfair to pursue third parties for payment when they are not liable and in not ceasing collection activity whilst investigating a reasonably queried or disputed debt you are using deceptive and unfair methods. Furthermore ignoring and disregarding claims that debts have been settled or are disputed and continuing to make unjustified demands for payment amounts to physical & psychological harassment.
I would ask that no further contact be made concerning the above account unless you can provide evidence as to my liability for the debt in question and await your written confirmation that this matter is now closed. Otherwise I will have no option but to make a complaint to Trading Standards and also inform the Office Of Fair Trading of your actions.
I look forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully
