Help - HMRC Outstanding Debt and Bailiffis

Hello
I am seeking some advice on behalf of my Mum and was wondering if anybody could help!
have put forward an offer to HMRC for an outstanding SA tax. HMRC have rejected the offer that we have put forward. My Mum phoned them this morning to see what she should now do and they have said that the matter has been passed to enforcement and that a Bailiff will be attending at her house to take her car. Mum stated that they have not taken her to Court and that they do not have a judgment. HMRC said they do not need to do this and that they can come and take the car. Is this correct???

See factsheet from National Debtline http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=04_how_to_deal_with_business_debt#1
Yes, HMRC can use bailiffs without a court order. Unpaid tax is a priority debt and should be re-paid as early as possible.
Mum needs to agree a repayment plan which fits her budget and the HMRC.
