Depends on the cashier, I believe! Technically, no, as they are "food" vouchers. Some may accept if they are feeling lazy, or can't be bothered arguing!0

I went in today and asked the manager of Boots- apparently they're not bothered, I can buy anything! Hooray!0

Marks & Spencer accept them in the Food Hall for any food: it doesn't have to be lunch.
I use mine to buy their Lean Mince, which is delicious.0 -
I spend mine in Asda or Tesco when I am doing my normal weekly shop.0

I use them for my shopping in Morrisons with no problems.0

Another vote for using them in Morrisons during a normal weekly shop. I see them as a way to buy treats like Ben & Jerry's ice cream when it's on special offer!0

I know this thread is a few weeks old but I have saved up loads for christmas shopping - I think it depends on the cashier - I tried to use mine in Waitrose for some beer a while back and they wouldnt let me cos it wasnt lunch! However have used the in Asda on George stuff with no problem!0

A lot of cashiers look blankly at them and call a supervisor lol, but aside from that small delay I've never had a problem using them for things other than food.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0
