Today I went to Babies R Us, my local store was holding a new parent day!

I received two Huggies Goody Bags (one for new baby due Oct and one for my toddler) each containing:

    2 x Persil Tablets
    Sample of Comfort Pure
    Sample of Kleenex Tissues
    1 x Huggies Changing Pad
    1 x Huggies Nappy
1 x Huggies Wipes Travel Pack

I also entered into a couple of prize draws:
    win a Chicco S2 Stroller (3-wheeler)
win 6 months supply of Huggies
babies r us prize draw (never actually saw what I would win as too many people but got a free raffle ticket)

There were 'experts' giving out information and freebies:
Avent - info, special offers on products
Medela - info, free pens, free nipple cream samples (got 3 of these)
Prima - free Tommee Tippee Soother Pack or Breast Pad Pack with Comfort Pure Sample plus if you subscribed to Prima Baby you got a Goodie Bag and a free gift of Closer to Nature Freedom Breast Pump worth £25 or Closer to Nature Fedding Bottles worth £21.77 or Tommee Tippee Microwave Steriliser worth £19.99

So worth a visit if your local store holds one of these days!

For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.

While I was there I bought an Avent New Baby Starter kit £39.99 which includes Avent Express Electric Steralizer, Avent ISIS Breast Pump, 2 4oz bottles, 2 9oz bottles and an Avent Magic Cup.

Plus I got 2 4oz bottles, pack of medium flow teats and a bottle brush.

Then used a voucher for £7 off for spending over £50.

So very pleased! Used Avent with my other 3, tried other makes of breast pumps, bottles, etc but none as good as Avent. After baby no 3 I chucked everything out but I clearly remember paying £40 just for the pump before in a bag! So bargains all round, really!

Maybe they will do one at your nearest store later in the year. They were giving away Goody Bags for any child still in nappies (didnt ask age). Plus they had lots of products on offer, not just baby things but toddler toys, car seats, etc.
