Does anyone know if a creditor will take action if you pay less then minimum payment?
Halifax still havent received my SOA and no matter how hard I try, I cant get through to CAB, have also tried writing but to no avail. (A friend went to that branch and apparantly it isnt there anymore?)
I have been paying them the £12 a month I told them I could afford, and all they have done is ring once a month asking for an update. I will be in a position to double what I am pay, plus a bit more so am wondering if it was likely they would accept this, I sent them a copy of my SOA myself but they wouldnt accept it, even though the one CAB sent is the same!
TIA,

If they seem happy with the £12 a month I'd perhaps save the extra u can now afford and make them a Full & Final offer in a few months.0

They must be relatively happy with it as they only call once a month but they said they wouldnt accept the £12 a month unless the CAB wrote to them, which they did, but Halifax claim to not have received.
The question came about as a friend mentioned that if you are paying something, they cant really take much action against you.
Think I may well just save the extra, in a few months, I will also have an extra £30 a month as well to put towards it, its an now almost £3k balance.0
