For any new people out there who wonder what us lunatics are up to, we "bump" this thread to the top of the first page so as to keep the all-important message about not-so-friendly people (i.e. trolls) in view at all times. If you have serious financial problems then the last thing you need when coming on this site looking for help is someone taking the p.... or being nasty. Most people on here are very helpful and friendly. This board and this thread are not an exclusive club....we are not fussy, we take anybody! Even you!
:T Well said! Come on if folks, it's lovely and cosy here.
Yes I'm still here Nicca but not felt like posting too much - been rather distracted with things
I have been caring for friend/neighbour who has been quite ill and very despressed. I was at hospital with her (she went by ambulance) on Monday night from 6 pm to 12.30 am and did not get to bed until about 3 am  But she finally told her family how despressed she was, and I took her over to stay with her elderly mother and disabled father yesterday to spend a few days/couple of weeks with them for company, and she already sounded better when I spoke to her on phone tonight, which is really good news :j
Love the joke Handy - I see that you're working as hard as ever
10,000 posts Tixy - wow
I'm off to bed now so goodnight folksShe's lucky to have a good friend to help her through. Remember to take care of you too though! And big squashy hugs to Bonnie from me. Wee soul.
Nargleblast wrote: »Well, I rescued the batch of tablet I had made - adding more sugar and butter and boiling it up again worked. Trouble is it is so sweet and sickly it will last for ages because I can't stomach more than one bit at a time. Some of it broke up into crumbs in the tin as I was dividing it into squares, so these crumbs are now in a jar waiting to be added to cakes/desserts. If DS keeps his grubby mitts out of course.
:j :j Probably the best way fro your tablet to be Nargle, otherwise you'd eat it until you felt sick!(Or is that just me?)
