Good morning all :hello:"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

The notice seems to have slipped from the top of the page, must be due to a deleted post. So halfway down will have to do this time
Tixy from what I can tell I think it was Sublime's images of troll bumps that have been deleted. So maybe no more images of troll's for a while x"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

Afternoon everyone, hope you're managing to stay warm in these arctic conditions.

Time for a bump - hope this post won't go awol as some others have today (not relating to the 'T' topic just a forum glitch I think).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Evening. I've just cancelled my book club, it's too cold and close to xmas, I know at least two can't make it and just had a hunch no-one else would turn out.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Another bump time
Sounds like a good idea Ames. Too cold to be going out tonight, especially to find nobody turns up.
I'm off to give my eyes a rest from the computer for a bit.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Ma apologised straight after I'd posted that thing this am :j...but I felt so much better for posting cos like it's always the way- I get sick - I begin to feel better and she just symbiotically goes off on one
Anyhow
Have some snooze....
Are we sitting by the fire roasting chestnuts and marshmallows comfortably?
Been charity shopping today :d...Got a new watch (vintage seiko worth at least £100) for £6 and the Mrs Beeton's kitchen garden; a cookie making book and something about a french diet or something...yay...
So now off onto the appliance manual thread for this watch. Phoned Seiko (natural thing to do) who said it was at least 20 years old and to phone the vintage guy but he's away till the the 3rd...went to local jewellers who gave a rough price of £100-200 and said wind it every 2 days (like hello can't you read it says automatic on the face?
)

Wow, great charity shop finds Erme! I'm looking on ebay for some nice hippy jewellery, I want to get myself a nice, but cheap, birthday present.
I agree about posting, I always find that writing down how I feel helps so much.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Good evening everyone, brass monkeys as usual....have so far avoided the snowfalls but rumour has it we are going to get it by the end of the week. I'm on nights tomorrow so knowing my luck......ho ho bloomin' ho!One life - your life - live it!0
