Good old Linford save's the day, I could be wrong but I thought he used to be a PT instructor in the Army. If not he should have been. He is a perfect example of there is nothing to fear, only fear it's self. He is a bit of a urine extractor and a wind up merchant as well. As for Gillian she is about as genuine a human being as the Trolls we get on here. She is a Doctor????

A quick update about Mam as some people were asking - I don't know where wwe got up to on here, but Mam was transferred to the 'end-of-life unit at a local care home last Wednesday, and the trouble with her treatment has continued. She has been asthmatic all her life following TB as a child, but the home did not give her the asthmas meds/inhalers she has had all her life since then from admission till we got stressed about it 4 days later when we saw her health deteriorating. Seems like they forgot to transfer that medication from the list provided by hospital onto their medication charts. However, when it was pointed out to them, they started giving her an asthma nebuliser 4 times a day. We have had a few other problems too, which have upset us.

Anyway, Mam improved after getting her nebuliser but from the beginning of this week, she has slept and not been able to eat or drink most of the time, and we are very worried about her at the moment. We are at present sort of having a rota system so someone is with her, to check on her treatment and meds, as well as what she eats and drinks, so spending lots of time at the care home - Handy, your wife especially will know a lot about that

So forgive me when I am not posting on here much at the moment - I do post on my diary for support and to keep people informed of what is going on, so you're welcome to look in anytime. However, I try to just keep to that thread as I can only concentrate on one thing at a time at present - I have been up at Mam's with my brother for 4 weeks today, so Mr 3Dogs has been looking after himself all that time :eek:

I'll try to pop in with the odd BUMP though, when I can, just for the hell of it perhaps - well, just to keep my hand in

I'll be off to bed soon, after a look around the grocery vouchers/saving, freebie threads, as I am going food shopping with my sister tomorrow and a gal still has to get the bargains

Well I've just woken up from a nightmare following major paranoia @ the FP's last night - so paranoia I slept through most of the service...Just away to do some knitting then morning routine and get on with stuff ready for SAMH later on...then to work to pay my agency fees and see if I have any work for tomorrow am ...

And I'm cycling this am (is that wise?) and like we're forecast snow this week :eek:...so Handy you'll need the terriers in the bed with you and Mrs Handy to keep you warm :T...

Anyhow tis all my news....Quick bump up this am
