Samsung 32 inch tv at comet £385.95

Just thought i'd post. I went to my local store yesterday to look at this tv which is £449.99 in store. Bargain. Anyhow i spoke to an assistant and mentioned the online price of £385.95, he said he would honour it in store and also told him of the 3 year warranty of £99 online as this was £119 in store. I wanted the 5 year warranty which is not on the net so i asked cheekily if i could have £20 off that price and he agreed giving me a 5 year warranty for £129.99. So in total i paid £515.94 Bargain and i got to take it home with me not wait for delivery. Take a look:

I know its HD but that does seem like a lot of money for a CRT. And do people in general buy warrantys ? I have always thought they didnt represent good value as you shoudl be getting 2 years manufacturors warranty anyway.

in fairness that is a great result.... for COMET!

2 out of 5 picture rating, and it says on the bottom of the link you gave 5 year warranty for £119.99

I think the 100 hz option or at least it did increase the value abeit not by much. My local Comet hardly sell any crts at that size now. Most people want Plasma or LCD'

I was going to post about the 5 year gtee at JL but I cant find any 32 inch CRT sets on the JL website, so if that is specifically what the OP wanted then the price match etc is no good
