Free Delivery Tesco Wine .... 1 Week to Oct 8th

Sorry if somebody has noticed and posted this one already ...

Placed three orders on Saturday for wine ... to take advantage of the points/money off codes .... charged delivery on all three ... however in a bid to reduce my/our carbon footprint I called Tesco to ask them to amalgamate the orders into one delivery slot ... could not do so told me to cancel & reorder ....

When I did this though all this weeks orders now going through on Free Delivery as standard ... plus it allows you to put in an additional XX-code for points or cash as desired ... allows you to take advantage of the August Clubcard 1000 bonus Points per 12 bottles/No Min order .... XX-9FF6 ... Vaild until 12/10/06 ... with no 'painful' delivery charge ...

Have just ordered 12 bottles wine 6 red / 6 white on special offer - free delivery (on a saturday too!!) for £34.00.......
that makes me £6 up after the 1000points changed to deals

Get cracking with this - I just placed an order and got the only available slot for free delivery - on Sunday 8th. All slots before that were already full.

I didn't actually know they delivered wine on a Sunday up until now!

Can the 1000 points code only be used once. I used this last week and am trying again with free delivery but it will not let me use the points code.

I ordered 18 bottles on 30/9 with the 1000 extra clubcard points but had to pay £5 delivery - how typical is that!!!

Just a point ... I placed my orders yesterday ... 3 in all ... and all to be delivered on October 12th! .... I believe the Free Delivery counts at the ordering date ... not the delivery if that helps ....

If your order is enough in advance and has not gone to despatch then potentially you can cancel & reorder! .... It take a few days for them to confirm but in the conditions it states if delivery made simply return! ... best to check with Wine CS to see that they refund the full total in this event ... their No. is .... 0845 7225533

I have just received the following email from Tesco which confirms the free delivery!

"The Wine Festival. As with all good events, it's coming to an end. With exciting wines from around the world, and with up to 50% off, you'll have plenty of bottle to try something new!

Plus, there's free delivery on all orders during this last week"

I ordered 8 cases of 6 for my girlfriends and 12 bottles for me last week. Split all the orders into batches of 50 and used the 10 / 15 / 20 off vouchers. Couldnt find a 1000 points one but i'm happy with the savings anyway.

Yes i've got delivery on 28th October (less time for temptation before Xmas - hah hah!!!!)
not been charged delivery fee
