this sort of help isn't called for & doesn't help anyone.
Personally I think suggesting someone should knowingly make an illegal application is moronic.0 -

Yes, when they're basically saying "hey, fraud is cool - do it!"0 -
If the property is incomplete you run the risk of a valuer indicating that it is unsuitable for mortgage purposes.cookie1003 wrote: »thanks for making it clear, so could i mortgage my unfinished house if they say they couldn't let me remortgage my home.
So there is no guarantee.
Equally, I'm not aware of an unsecured loan provider who won't ask the question "what is the money for".If you take an unsecured loan (at higher rates than a mortgage loan) then you're right, you can usually do whatever you want with it.0 -
Ask a mortgage broker. People doing self-builds can get mortgages on the property that they are building, so you'll probably find a decent deal available to you. That may include clearing the mortgage on your current property or porting it to the one you're building. First thing you could do is phoen your current mortgage lender and ask whether they have any suitable product. They will want to know which property you plan to live in long term.0
