Sofa for narrow doorway

Any recommendations where to buy a sofa able to fit through a narrow hallway / doorway? Previous occupiers managed to get normal sized kitchen appliances through but all sofas seem much wider. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

I bought one from ikea, called ekesog I think, it's bigbut comes in sections which you just bolt together once in the room which solved the problem for me. Might be worth looking for something similar - it's a fab sofa and no problem to put together.
  • Thanks, any other recommendations for sourcing small sofas / sofas to fit through small doorways?
  • If your windows are large pane double glazed, could you get someone to remove the glass to get your sofa in.

  • That is only about 5/6 cm narrower than ours - think you should be able to get "normal" sized sofas in. We have large leather sofas and when they delivered them they put them up vertically and soft of "jiggled" them through the doorway with no problem at all! If in doubt, why not pop into a furniture store and ask them if a doorway your size would cause any problems.
