Posts: 29 Forumite
Just been in to my local Woolworths (Lichfield, Staffs) and they have two of the stockroom cages full of the new catalogues by the front door. I've got one here at work with me now, so if any has any questions about items in there, please let me know.

I pickedup a copy today and I think it's a big improvement on what they usually put out at xmas, but then Woolies is in financial trouble so they have to do something. I loved the stuff in the catalogue, especially some of the clothes, I could have bought my kids half the book.0

I heard on the news Woolworths have plans to trade in the same way Argos do. Perhaps this is their experiment?0

It's certainly a very similar style and layout; even the title is similar - The Big Red Book or The Big One (which is actually miles thicker!)EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!0

Sorry for not replying - been away

Can't remember seeing any money off vouchers in there for any amount.
It's not like when I used to work there, and they had 10% nights etc in the lead up to christmas (but then again, that didn't matter with a 20% staff discount
)
I agree that the are some great things in there, especially in the kids clothing. There are some cool Duvet sets for £12 too (Cars, Thomas The Tank Engine etc) that my 2 kids want.0 -
Some of the toys have £10 off - like the Fifi Flowertot cottage, which my daughter has had her eye on. It's £30 in Argos.0

I think the one in Argos is the Deluxe version which has 6 scented figures. The one in Woolworths only has 2 figures and was £14.99 last year.
We got the Deluxe one from Amazon earlier on in the year for £20 with Free delivery.
