E:? Tommee Tippee Nappy Wrapper £15 at Boots

Reduced from £30. Seemed pretty good and as I was in there picking up the free pack of nappies from Prima Baby mag mentioned here I grabbed this too.

I didn't have an advantage card so I grabbed one next to the till (temporary paper jobbie).

Put it all through and it came to £14.88 and for some reason I got 546 points!

No idea why but when I get a chance I'll check the receipt to see if there is any clue.

This producthas been half price at most stores for some time. This is a bit similiar to the Gillette marketing scam, you buy the wrapper but then you have to buy the Tommee Tippee catridges that fit it for the next 3 years at £3-£3.50 a pop.

Having said that my wife says it is a Godsend!!!

been halfprice in mothercare and tesco for a while, in fairness for the first few weeks we used it quite a lot as it was upstairs near his cot so as we had quite a few overnight changes. Not used it as much nowadays as he doesn't change as much but usefull so we aren't carrying used nappies around all the time. All depends on how lazy you are I guess!

I think this will be a bonus 500 points for spending over a certain amount on baby products. Boots offer promotions on baby items over a certain amount quite frequently. Or you could have just been lucky! ;)

I used one of these when my daughter was 1st born & as warned by a friend once she got on to solids it was not much use at disguising the smell of poo!

Also when you have to empty them the smell is rather repulsive, great idea in theory though.

The reason you paid less than the £15 is beacuse the prima coupon is worth more than Boots price for the nappies, Boots software isn't sophistacated enough to deal with this so you save a few extra pence on your other purchases. (Doesn't work if you're only getting the free nappies, they don't give you the difference back unfortunatley)

Had one of these. It did not disguise the smell of poo at all. I would have to empty it after a couple of hours due to the smell. I agree, its a nice idea, but this product does not work.

I absolutely agree, we also bought one of these useless contraptions.

It might be a saving on the RRP, but speaking from experience, keep the 15 quid in your pocket in the first place. Honestly, they are rubbish unless you don't mind the aroma of poo that has been half-heartedly disguised with perfume.

They don't disguise the smell of wee either... I bought one for £7.50 (including new full cartridge) at an NCT nearly new sale, only ever put wet nappies in, and it still smelt disgusting after a day or two.
Sold it at the next NCT sale...
I'm sure some people find it a godsend but I haven't met anyone who does yet!
