Good afternoon fellow DFWs
It's been hectic here this morning so I didn't get the chance to post this thread earlier - hope I am not duplicating
Feeling quite happy with my spending over the weekend and planning a non spender today so all is great
Got lunch with me and although I don't really fancy it (roast dinner leftovers), there is no way I'll chuck it and buy something else
Have a great day everyone and hope it's a good DFW one!

good afternoon Moozie, since that my lad has gone away for 5 days with the school, I feel a bit romantic so, I have decided to take my DW out for a meal, as it has been a long time since we went out so I will expect to spend at least £30 ~ £40 todayYung

Hiya Moozie,
I know what you mean about the lunches, unfortunately I couldn't wait for mine so ate it at about 11.30, going to have to resist the afternoon munches....
I am going to spend nothing today, stuck to my budget over the weekend but not feeling too optimistic for the rest of the month (loads of things are coming up) so need to save every penny I can.
Yung, that sounds lovely, hope you and Mrs Yung have a great time!Saving for an early retirement!0 -

I spent £1.57 in the paper shop this morning buying milk for work but this is good cos it means I don't have to pay our extorionate tea club fee! Also £2.90 on lunch (because I didn't have time to make my own last night). I will probably spend another £1.50 on the way home buying some bread and milk for home. so £6.47, wow and not much to show for it
