• There's a free display in Thetford, Norfolk this year. I copied and pasted this from their Faebook event page;

It's back!!! A 2nd organised fireworks display is taking place in Thetford again this year. Two fantastic displays!!! The display for youngsters at 5.30pm, and an adult display at 7.30pm. Live entertainment including pop groups performing on stage. Sideshows, fairground rides, food vendors, charity stalls and much more.

Free entrance. Although we are raising funds for the Big C cancer charity in Norwich, so please give generously....

No alcohol, and no fireworks or sparklers permitted on the site please.

Car parking available at Charles Burrell High School. Organised by Larry Gray

Stockton Fireworks

Stockton's annual fireworks event is the biggest and brightest in the area. If you haven't managed to catch this spectacular show yet, try and get there in 2010. And this year the fireworks will be set to a bollywood theme - best get your dancing shoes on too!
As the fireworks explode in a riot of colour you can't help but to smile as the crowds all 'ooooh' and 'aaah' in unison at the brilliant firework illuminated Stockton skyline.
Join us for this free, stunning and very safe firework show in 2010. Other attractions include fairground, radio roadshow and loads of tasty food stalls.
Radio roadshow starts at 6pm
Firework display starts at 7.30pm

For more information about this event contact the Stockton-on-Tees Tourist Information Centre touristinformation@stockton.gov.uk or phone (01642) 528130.

Fireworks were fab but the bollywood theme was terrible, not a word of english throughout the display. Yet another traditional english event hiyacked!!! ruined it for me :(
