I got the last two unbattered copies in my local smiths today. The Buy 1 get 1 for £1 poster was clearly displayed above the top 50 childrens' books although I almost missed the lego books as they were tucked away in the bottom corner. So hopefully, the offer is still available nationwide. The assistant had to check the £5 with her supervisor but she said if the till accepted it then it was fine.

I have been lurking for a week or two but had to join up to thank you for sharing this fab bargain. This site is also fab and I wish I'd come across it years ago. However, I will have to start wearing my glasses again as my eyes are feeling the strain of taking in so much bargain info!

I managed to get 2 Lego Atlantis and a Thomas book all for £8.48 today. One of the Atlantis books had a half price sticker on for £9.49 so she overrode the till price this gave a total of £10.49 for the two. I had to get another book to take it over £12 then used the £5 off £12 on childrens books. The Thomas book was £2.99 giving £13.48. Take the £5 off hence the £8.48

That was a great bargain. It is worth looking out for stock that they have not updated at this time of year as the promotions change so frequently that they don't always have it all up to date and you can grab a bargain!

Is this offer definitely still on because it's not stickered up in my local WHSmiths and the Lego Atlantis books are coming up as £14.99 each? Would love to be able to get two for kiddies.

I bought two Atlantis books yesterday 1st one £14.99 and 2nd for a pound - offer clearly advertised in store then used £5 off voucher so two for £10.99:j

It was definately on as I bought 2 today! WHSmith are a bit strange though, I remember being down South and the books were on a better offer than they were here in Scotland at the same time.
