You have posted rather more than me in that time Tixy
, As it is my original posts where my situation only, so we have actually paid even more than it would seem, plus we sold one of the cars and bought a bigger family car (ford focus) which in total set us back £2100 after selling the old car.
It goes to show its not a race, as long as balances reduce every month then you are on the right track.
We have had a more of a personal race, as we want to do things in the order of house/wedding/children and we are both 27 so if at all possible we want the first child before 30, but of course we can't assume anything on that front.
As it is we plan to spend less than £2.5k on a wedding, some people at work are amazed by that, one girl I work with said 'her dress will cost that much' she seemed shock when I said my other half has found many she likes for less than £180. There is other things about weddings we don't agree with like the expensive food, we generally agree that weddings are 'bulls**t productions' these days, so rather than get the expensive 'lets pretend we are posh' food we are going to get the local chippy in (25x fish and chips). Basically our wedding is going to be about who we really are and how much we love each other and not how much we can spend. Many have lost sight of what a wedding is, as you can see we know exactly what it is.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
