Ideas of how to celebrate my Grandma's 80th - recently partially sighted

Hi, I am trying to think of how we can celebrate my Grandma's 80th birthday which she is not keen on as she has very recently lost her sight (can't see close up or the TV and far away it's blurred). She is also deaf (can hear ok using hearing aids), but copes ok with this.
Anyway we would like to take her somewhere to celebrate her 80th and have a nice day out. So far we have only thought about going to a health spa for a massage/treatments etc. We can't do anything that involves being able to see. She is quite fit and able to get around.
Any ideas? Thanks.:)

I was going to suggest going to the area that she was brought up but that might be a bit tricky if she can't see. It would still be possible though, you could all go there and describe the places to her. She might like to retell you stories of the things she did and where. You could find them and it could be interesting for all of you. Maybe go for a meal somewhere she remembers?
Has she got glasses? Maybe you could club together and get her a nice prescription pair?
EDIT: Are glasses free for pensioners? Maybe pay for another pair?I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Hi my mil is very partially sighted but she still loves going to the theatre, my daughter took her to the zoo for her 80th as long as someone describes what she is looking at her memories help build the picture, the thing is she has no vision in one eye and very partial in the other but before it goes altogether she wants to see as much as she can with the people she loves and make memories to keep her going. if you are putting this much thought into what to do what ever you choose she wiil love because it came from the heart.0

She has quite a few audio books and gets them in the post for free. They are great for the blind as my grandma used to love reading. Thanks for all of the suggestions.0
