The 2010 Inverness Winter Festival opens on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th October with our spectacular action packed family Halloween Show on Ness Islands - MALICE IN WONDERLAND .

The biggest Halloween Show in the Scottish Highlands invites you to dress up in your finest Halloween costumes and help over 100 performers from Eden Court Theatre's Arts Education team solve the biggest mystery of the year in a magical wonderland created by Arts in Motion and the Highland Council's Lighting Department on Haunted Ness Islands

Gates open at 6pm. Show starts at 6.30m. Show ends at 8.30pm

Nottingham Goose Fair
The World Famous Goose Fair returns to Nottingham on Wednesday 6 to Sunday 10 October 2010 at the Forest Recreation Ground.





Nottingham City Council is proud to announce that the world famous Goose Fair will run for five days this year.
From Wednesday 6 October to Sunday 10 October, visitors to the fair will have an extra day to enjoy more than 500 attractions – from the latest white knuckle rides for thrill seekers to the ever-popular family, children's and old-time rides.

Goose Fair is one of Europe's largest travelling fairs with a history that dates back more than 700 years. Amongst the array of Roller Coasters, Water Rides, Giant Wheels, Bombers, Dodgems, Twists, Waltzers and Miamis familiar to Goose Fair there will be a number of new attractions that have not visited Nottingham before.
Visitors can experience a dazzling array of sights and sounds, taste the local speciality of mushy peas and mint sauce or food from around the world.

Soak up the atmosphere and revel in the lively and vibrant tradition that is the Goose Fair, a great occasion for all to enjoy with FREE admission!
