Dear Martin,
about a year ago l got married, but before l did my husband told me he had a loan in 2002 which he had never payed any money to due to the lack of employment. Just recently we have had phone calls, even though he has never given his number out, from debt collectors asking for him to pay it back. He has never admitted or written in confirmation admitting it is his debt and it has been longer than five years, do you think there is a good chance the letter you have provided in correspondence to statute barred debts that he will not have to pay the loan back. Due to me starting college and my husband earning under 20,000 a year we are extremely unable to pay any of it back. Could you help or have you any advice? thank you

The original loan was for about 10,000 but when the interest was added it would be 17,000 approx.0

What about insurance?
Did he take this out with the loan as well?
This would also add on the debt, so I would also check on this too.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
