A duck visited our house at lunchtime today and is still here.
We dont know where it came from or if its a pet but we can get quite close to it - gave it some water etc.
Dont know what to do if it stays - would it make a good pet or who would rehome it as local uspca has closed in ballymoney.
Any ideas/thoughts please?

Lol Dave!!
Ring the RSPB. They have a Northern Ireland branch (sorry I'm doing this on my phone so can't copy over the link!). I had a black chicken in my garden a few years ago and they advised me.0 -

That's just wrong!
Hoi-sin sauce and pancakes are obviously the way to go
Seriously though...as the previous poster said, the RSPB will be able to advise.
My friend found an abandoned duckling in a car park with no sign of Mum or its siblings. She took it home to keep it safe while she figured out what to do next. A few months later and she now has 3 ducks as the duckling made itself at home and she bought 2 more ducks to keep it company.0 -

LOL, this thread cracks me up.
Blonde, I wouldn't go to the USPCA unless the duck is in bad health. Keep it as a pet0
