Do you honestly believe that you bought at the bottom of the market ?

Nope - the bottom of the market was probably some time in the early 1970's.

In terms of the best buying opportunity over the past 10 years or so, with interest rates at record lows then I would say it was probably the opportunity of a lifetime. Indeed, there is still plenty of upside, which is why so many bears have been baling back into the market in 2010.

Who am I to argue with recent house puchaser, Red Rum lookalike, and uber bear, Merryn Somerset Webb?? She bought back into the property market in Spring, having missed out on a 10% rally over the preceding 12 months

When Merryn Somerset Webb pays almost £1m for a property then I would suggest that she lives lives in a different world to most of us.
