Hi All,
Well I was a bit stupid and took out a couple of these things, and they are due for repayment next Thursday (end of the month), only there isn't going to be any money to pay them....well unless they get there first of course
I have read some other threads on here, and have opened a new bank account, as I've ready that is the only way to stop them - at the same bank though?? - I haven't cancelled my cards yet, as I need them to withdraw money to pay other bills..
My question was, was opening the new account at the same bank (halifax) enough to stop them getting their hands on my cash (which I need to pay rent / bills etc), or will they still be able to take it from the new account....(not sure how they would do this though tbh...)
Anyone have any ideas? I'm not saying I won't pay them, as obviously I borrowed the money, so will pay it back, but I can't pay it back next week, and was looking at setting up a DMP, and adding them onto this?
Thanks

If you open another acount at the Halifax, they (Halifax) will just use that one to set aside debts on the other one.
