Buchananclark and Wells......A question

I have to say I am so fed up with these goons I could explode!

They are so rude and will not listen, aside from the fact the debt is over 15 years old, and by the way paid off! they still harrass me...

So it got me thinking, I have had umpteen letters from these guys theatening all sorts of court/legal action. I now just ignore them but do they EVER actually go all the way and take people to court, get injuctions or take firm action against anyone?

I have scoured the boards and can see all sorts of complaints about them but none implying they have ever taken firm action.

I just think they are a bunch of bully's tring to frighten people into paying up, if you throw enough at the wall some will stick I guess.

I think they are scum....or do you disagree?

It may just get them off your back once and for all and, yes, we do think they're scum, they are just a bunch of bullies who try to intimidate the less well-informed into paying off these dubious debts.

Being Debt Collectors, of course they are scum.

First of all, report them to the OFT ( www.oft.gov.uk ), this will just be a matter of giving a few details which the OFT will not follow up on properly but its a numbers game and every added case is good for eventual action against them.

Send the letter as per the last poster's link. Also send them a letter pointing out that their continuing harrassment is causing you considerable distress and you feel that they should be compensating you for this and to treat this matter as a Formal Compalint

They should reply to this and supply you with a Complaints Procedure. The reply will deny it, so then report them to the Financial Ombudsman Service because you will also be getting a reply from the first letter that will help your case against them.

Dont put up with !!!! from scumbags like BCW.
