    spotify is a music catalogue- you can stream your own playlists etc for free
    the lowest level of account is limited to how many hours per month and you must listen to ads as part of the deal.
    (i'm supposing the code bit gets you a better sort of account?)

    I just started at Uni and no one has Spotify, so our kitchen is a bit devoid of music! If anyone has a spare code, I'd love it. Thanks.
