:hello: everyone
I am hoping someone can advise me about the best (in terms of cost and convenience) flights to book for my weekend in London next February (16th - 18th). I am staying near Heathrow.
I have checked Easyjet and the cheapest for suitable times is approx £55.00 flying into Stansted and departing Luton. Is it easy and cheap to get to Heathrow from these airports.
BMI Baby is £94.50  directly to Heathrow - OK, it is obviously very convenient but I consider it very pricey for my budget.
Flybe fly to Gatwick for £66.98 so I just need to know the cost of getting to Heathrow from there!
I am really
as to the best flight to choose so I would really appreciate some suggestions as to what to do.
Many many thanks for reading this

In the grand scheme of things £94.50 isn't bad for a rtn to LHR. Although LGW is cheaper, it'll cost you the difference to get there on the Speedlink. It may be a little cheaper if you connect by rail/tube but it takes ages. LTN is a better option (1hr 10mins) than STN but you can get buses direct to LHR from both. Standard rtn is £21.50.
When you add up the extras I reckon you'd be better just going straight to LHR.Timmay!0 -
hey fiona
heathrow is a nightmare to get to from stansted  train to london 45min (london stansted is actually miles from london:D)them approx 30#60min tube journey (can't remember exactly & depends on how well tubes are running) lutons not much better and not sure about gatwick, never travelled gatwick to LHR. i would def go straight to heathrow.Wiggly:heartpulsFB0 -
TRY AIRBERLIN TO STANSTED THEY ARE REASONABLY CHEAP ABOUT £80 RETURN. stansted i found esy to get from there is a stansted express into the centre or a slow one which is cheaper. nice scenery.love you lots like jelly tots

Thanks a lot everyone for your helpful replies
I think I will go to Heathrow in the end as it seems to be the best option all things considered.
Take care
