Hello,
We are currently trying to rent a room out in our flat, as one of our flatmates moved out. We have placed a few posters/leaflets around notice boards and newspapers, but had no replies so far.
Has anyone got any ideas of good flatshare websites that we could advertise our flat share for rent or any proffessional publications/classified maybe we could advertise in. We dont know where to start!! ???
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello daza166,
Well there are plently of websites out there for posting flatshare adverts. Some cost a bit, others are free, but it is a lot cheap than printing posters and leaflets.
I recommend posting an advert on these two websites I tend to use are spareroom and flatflat.co.uk
They also enable you to find a flatmate rather than advertise for one0 -

Gumtree, or send a Facebook group to all your friends and ask them to pass it on ie by inviting all of their friends. A friend of mine was in a similar position and found a new housemate through some friends on Facebook, on the plus side you know they're going to be OK if you share mutual friends!
Good luck!0 -
I've always found www dot easyroommate dot com (sorry can post a proper link yet) useful for finding a room in a house share. You can post a free advert, but with this it restricts the number of people who can view full details as they have to pay to view then or you can pay and everyone can see your ad. Probably more useful site if you live in a city.0
